The icon and soul of grunge of Kurt

On April 8, 1994, Kurt Cobain was found dead, at the age of 27. Have you ever asked yourself how Kurt became Kurt? How was he as a kid? He was a kind, funny, hyperactive kid, always doing something like painting, playing, never stopped. He had a happy childhood until his parents divorced. For Kurt this was heartbreaking, he really wanted to be part of a family, but that’s not how the story goes on. As he grew up he became hard to raise for his parents, that’s why he had to move lots of times, constantly placed from one relative to the next. He lived at his uncles’ for a while, at his friends’ then back to dads’, then sent back to moms’. Kurt felt abandoned and unwanted, even at school he was anti social and grew up as an outcast. His biggest fear in life was to feel ridiculed, embarrassed. He always felt like he wasn’t enough. Growing up he spent days in his bedroom listening to punk rock and palying guitar. That’s how he learnt he says, he found an expression through music for his rage and emotions. He also loved to write songs and draw illustrations. He had to express himself, he didn’t care about being popular.Music was the most important thing. During mid 80’s he started to play in some bands, and formed Nirvana in 1987.As we know, Nirvana became very popular.Their albums are masterpieces. But Kurt had battled with health issues and drug addictions. He had depression and stomach chronic pain and he treated his issues with drugs. In 1992 he married Courtney love, and they had a daughter the same year. In March 1994, Kurt was hospitalized in Rome after overdosing and slipped into a coma. This came out to be a failed suicide. He was really fragile and he thought that Courtney was cheating on him, he didn’t feel loved, again. Family and friends convinced him to seek for rehab, but it wasn’t enough.
